Great gig last night at Beauberry House in Dulwich. Wonderful venue with great staff at the wedding of Rachel and Richard where the guests danced all night long. This is the first time we have worked at Beauberry House and the Events Manager – Oleia Leclercq – (who also happens to be winner of Best Wedding Co-ordinator for London and The South East Wedding Industry Awards 2011/12) was so impressed with the band that she has added us to Beauberry House’s recommendation list! Thanks Oleia.

Live Swing Band at Guildford Golf Club

The Masked Swing Band! Lovely gig on Saturday night at Guildford Golf Club where the quintet played for a 60th birthday party with a Masquerade Ball Theme. There were lots of jive and ballroom dancers at the event and they all looked fab doing the jive with their masks on. To add a little more mystique to our band we borrowed the masks at the end of the gig to capture the moment!

Waldorf London New Year’s Eve

Very nice New Year’s Eve gig at the Waldorf Hotel, London where we managed to escape from a road closure zone at 12.30 am and get home in record time and didn’t run anyone over!

Corporate Party Band

Couple of lovely Christmas corporate party gigs this week. Firstly on Wednesday 14th December we played in the Pool Bar at the Haymarket Hotel, London. What a fantastic setting for a party with Christmas candles floating in the pool. Then on Thursday 15th we were back at The Savoy, London with our 6-Piece Band playing in the Abraham Lincoln Room.

Band for Product Launches and Award Ceremonies

A lovely gig last night at The Millennium, Gloucester Road, London where the Quintet performed for Jet Airways’ award ceremony. The company had launched new flight paths to Mumbai and Delhi and had an awards and prize giving. After a solo piano spot for dinner, the band joined me to play a dinner set and then a party set for this corporate event.

Wedding and Party Swing Band at Great Fosters, Egham, Surrey

A lovely gig yesterday at Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey where the 5 piece band performed for the wedding of Angela and Kostas. The happy couple opted for Simply Swing’s solo pianist in the afternoon for reception drinks, followed by our 5-Piece wedding band in the evening and and then our auto disco service to finish the night off. A great day was had by all at a wonderful venue.
