Simply Swing is proud to present Simply Spiffing – a hot jazz dance band available for all events.
We have recently teamed up with singer and musician Tony Jacobs to bring you his 1920’s and 30’s hot jazz show band. A superb and authentic re-creation of the music and songs of the American and British hot dance bands of the 1920s and ‘30s and much sought-after for concert and cabaret performances as well as for private parties and corporate events.
This is foot-tapping Society Jazz at its best. Planning a Downton Abbey or Great Gatsby party? Then this is the band for you. The quality of the music is outstanding. The humour and warmth of the musicians and singers are second to none. Standing ovations and demands for encores ensue wherever this remarkable band appears – in theatres, festivals and jazz clubs.

Swing Dance & Lindy Hop
Do you love swing dancing? We do. This fabulous dance style, originating from New York’s Harlem district, is interactive and fun. That’s why, as an optional extra, we invite the UK’s premier Swing Dance Company – the Swing Time Jivers – to join the Orchestra in a thrilling demonstration of the great dances of the era. From the Charleston of the 1920s Great Gatsby era through to the greatest dances of the Jazz Age, you can expect to see the Lindy-Hop and the Black Bottom!
